"Sets were designed and built at Warner Brothers Studios. Extensive research and imagination went into the creation of the film's futuristic sets. I envisioned and designed the "Tatoo Room" set, the first scene in the film, inspired by modern aircraft and ship motifs. Several of the other sets were designed in collaboration with the set illustrator and entailed details from industrial elements of design."
