As a Production Designer of the independent film market, Clare handled visual concepts and designs for the background scenery in collaboration with directors, cinematographers, costume designers and producers. Independent filming budgets ranged from 1 to 6 million. She orchestrated and managed Art Department crews of 40+ members. In addition, Clare took the role of  Set Decorator  on many of the films she Production Designed, where she shopped for furniture, set dressing and props to complete the look for the film's scene concepts and characters.
